Academic Affiliations

The company has worked closely with several prestigious academic institutions such as Clemson University, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, the University of Rhode Island and Worcester Polytechnic Institute. These collaborative efforts have resulted in successful peer-reviewed funding and publications for these research programs. The company has also worked closely with two world-renowned academic medical institutions: Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Industrial Affiliations

BioSurfaces, Inc. has also a collaborative arrangement with Berkley Medical Resources (BMR), one of leading mask manufacturers in the country. BMR, which manufactures various textile materials such as personal protective masks, wipes and hospital gowns, has negotiated several agreements to serve as the main distributor for large group purchasing organizations for hospitals. BioSurfaces, Inc. may explore this opportunity in order to bring its technology to market upon successful clinical trials.
