Bio-Spun™ 3D Scaffold Technology Being Presented at The Society of Toxicology (SOT) 2021 Annual Meeting

Dr. Patrick Hayden, Vice President of Innovative Research at BioSurfaces, Inc, will be presenting his research at the Society of Toxicology (SOT) 2021 Annual Meeting (Wednesday, March 24).  Dr. Hayden's abstract entitled "Development of High-Throughput In Vitro Human Alveolar Tissue Models Utilizing Novel Electrospun Scaffolds" focuses on developing human alveolar tissue models for coronavirus and respiratory toxicology research using the company's Bio-Spun™ scaffolds.  Dr. Hayden will be presenting his poster on Wednesday, March 24th at 11am E.S.T.  This research was conducted in conjunction with investigators at Corning, Inc., Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Boston College.
