Week 9 –What Happens in Vegas.....

Hope everyone had a great week! While we have been full speed ahead on several different programs (which I will briefly summarize at the end of the blog), our NuSpun™ Vascular Graft took center stage this week. We have begun to put together data from our preclinical study. This is a large study that is generating a ton of data so it will take a full team effort to process it all. This process starts from creating and organizing excel spreadsheets that will handle the data followed by carefully making sure the data is organized into specific files and accurately enter the data into the spreadsheets (a special thanks to our high school intern Ben for all of his hard work). The data encompasses

Week 8 –Developments, Discussions and Dilemmas

Hope everyone had a great week. For us, it was a short week due to Presidents’ Day, the last holiday off for the next couple of months. Guess this is what makes the winter feel a little longer. This type of week tends to have the team hitting the ground running a little faster than normal because you want to get some things accomplished by the end of the week. We had a full team meeting last Friday, what we affectionately refer to as an “All Hands Meeting.” This pays homage to Tina’s former li

Week 6 – Patients Versus Profits

Another week in the books! Hope everyone had an awesome week. As you know from reading the blog, I really love my job (even though it can be challenging and frustrating at times). There are so many things that can go on in a “normal” week. That’s what makes the job so much fun. It seems like one minute you are working on or discussing something new, trying to solve a problem, or seeing what changes can be made to an ongoing program. My weekly trek can range from working at the bench in the lab to conducting business operations behind my desk to speaking with our clinical experts. This is the reason I usually wait until the end of the week to write the blog (and no it’s not because I am a pro
